Misele Vintage Leather Clutch Review

Most of you know how much I love clutches and handbags, so I was thrilled when I was given the wonderful opportunity to review a gorgeous vintage leather clutch handbag from Misele.

Misele is a vintage shop on Etsy that's based out of Riga, Latvia, which carries all sorts of wonderful vintage items like hats, jewelry, toys, home interiors, accessories and gadgets. Every item they carry is vintage, unique and wonderful! They have some of the most lovely vintage jewelry and vintage handbags I've seen in quite a while. I fell in love with several items that they carry and hope to acquire them very soon! Misele offers shipping worldwide at a very affordable rate and even gives a shipping discount when multiple items are purchased. They also accept several different forms of payment including PayPal, Visa, Master Card and Discover.

The kind folks at Misele graciously allowed me to review this gorgeous and stunning vintage black leather clutch and I instantly fell in love the moment I unwrapped it from it's packaging! The leather is in wonderful condition and the interior, which seems to be made of a velvety leather, looks pristine and well cared for. I was easily able to fit all my essentials into the clutch with even a little room to spare! The interior features a wide opening and a slim pocket which is great for holding something slender. As you can see, I was able to fit my Hobo wallet clutch, my check book, my small spiral-bound notebook that I use to log down my diet each day, my Weight Watchers points plus calculator, my vintage compact, and my lipstick inside without any over-crowding. I even had room leftover to stash my iPod and my phone inside later on. This is a gorgeous clutch that will be loved and much-used by myself for years to come!

A Downtown Cruise-In

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went to the 21st annual Volunteer State Auto Club downtown cruise-in in our hometown of Greeneville, TN. This is a classic and antique car show that is held on one Saturday each summer and this year certainly didn't disappoint us. There were close to a hundred cars to look at that were simply gorgeous! We had a great time at the show and even enjoyed some local barbeque while looking at all the lovely restored cars. I even had the luck of coming across a few vintage treasures that I brought home in a local thrift store, but I'll save those for another post. Enjoy!

I'm back from vacation, rejuvenated and refreshed!

I finally made it back from Myrtle Beach and took a few days off afterwards to just spend time with the family and take it easy. Now that I'm back, I will share some details of my trip and our Independence Day holiday with you!

The weather at the beach was perfect while we were there and it didn't rain a bit. It was even not as humid as I had planned on it being, since I used to live in that area years ago and remember how hot and muggy summers can be there! Our hotel was wonderful and we enjoyed quite a bit of sun, sand, the ocean, and the pool in between shopping and sight-seeing. Dinner the first night was at the wonderful Johnny Rockets inside Broadway at the Beach. We were lucky enough to catch the new Pirates Voyage show which was spectacular as well as see the beautiful Sky Wheel on the boardwalk at 9th Avenue. We took a lovely late-night stroll along the tree-lined and lighted streets inside Market Common and enjoyed the lighted fountains. On our last day there we also made sure to play a round of miniature golf at Captain Hook's, then went to the boardwalk and saw a spectacular fireworks show outside Landshark Bar & Grill. One of the highlights of the trip was getting the chance to shop at American Vintage which is inside Barefoot Landing. I was able to pick up a few items from there that were fabulous! The crowds weren't nearly as bad as I thought they would be and we had a great time. My family and I plan on trying to go back next summer if at all possible.
