Urban Outfitters Introduces Beauty

It appears as though Urban Outfitters is now introducing a beauty line, which consists of over 50 brands and (as they mention) 1000 colors! Despite the fact that we can pick up all of this at Sephora, I do find it fun that you can go online and purchase an outfit as well as your favorite lip gloss and shampoo. I'm not sure yet if you are able to purchase the beauty products in the stores, but right now they're doing a shipping promo -buy any beauty product and get free shipping on your entire order. That's kinda cool!

Here are some of the brands they are now carrying: Anna Sui perfumes, BLOW hair products, CoSTUME NATIONAL perfumes, Culter hair products, Demeter perfumes, DuWop cosmetics, Girlactik cosmetics, Japonesque beauty accessories, Malin + Goetz perfume, Manic Panic hair color, Paul & Joe perfume and accessories, Pop cosmetics, Revolution in Cut hair products, Stila cosmetics, and Too Faced cosmetics.

ANNA SUI Rock Me Summer of Love $58

Mini Flat Iron $28

MANIC PANIC Semi Permanent Hair Color $10

66 Well Eyeshadow $24

STILA Barbie loves Stila 1959 $40

STILA Box That Rocks $69

Du Wop Venom Rocks $21

CoSTUME NATIONAL Intense $64

New Fashion Websites For You

Searching around on the web led me to a couple of sites that have great clothes and really good prices. The first is Need Supply Co. from Virginia. The clothing and prices are along the lines of Urban Outfitters and Mod Cloth. What I like is that it's a little less "bohemian" and a little more fashionable rather than too "cutesy". They also carry mens' clothing! Woo!!!!! So here are a few things I picked off the site that I really liked....

Need Supply Co.

The second site I want to share with you is Nasty Gal (I love this website!), it's a little 80's & kinda mod and offers both new and vintage items. Like Need Supply, Nasty Gal carries Jeffrey Campbell shoes (my new and latest love). Here is a bit of what I chose from the site.

Cat Eye Sunglasses

So apparently, while doing my usual fashion research, I found that cat eye sunglasses are the latest rage in high fashion this season. Now, being a self proclaimed retro girl I've always loved them, but they were always so hard to find. Unless of course you bought those corny super pointy ones with the plastic crystal thingys on the ends. Those were always way too over the top for me.

I usually don't spend an arm and a leg for my (as I call them) "sunshades", because I always end up scratching them or breaking them. I dunno about some of you, but I don't have an extra $250 laying around each time I sit on my purse. And yes, I could use a case, but they're so HUGE now days and really, the little fabric ones are totally pointless. So I stick with cheapies. After looking at some of whats out there now, I dunno, I may invest and actually try to take care of them! Lets take a look at all the pretty (modernized) cat eye sunshades that are out there right now, shall we?
